Are you a STEM professional who would like to act as an inspiring role model to young people? If you are a STEM (Science Technology Engineering Maths) Professional and would like to work with local schools and colleges to help inspire young people about STEM, inform them about the STEM career opportunities available to them and promote your skills, have a look at the STEMNET STEM Ambassador web pages and talk to us about becoming a STEM Ambassador. You can register online at STEMNET and your details will be passed on to us. We will then help you apply for CRB clearance and arrange insurance for you when you are working in a school. Are you interested in knowing more about individuals who could inspire your STEM students? Currently there are over 360 STEM Ambassadors in Suffolk - individuals willing to give their time and energy free of charge to help inspire young people in STEM. They do this in a variety of ways from illustrating specific careers or helping with classroom activities to assisting in extra-curricular activities such as clubs, challenges and competitions.
