The Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) is an executive agency of the Home Office, and provides access to criminal records and other information to organisations in England and Wales through its Disclosure Service. Its specific purpose is to help organisations make informed choices when recruiting people into positions of trust. The Suffolk EBP is a registered umbrella organisation for the Criminal Records Bureau and can provide a Disclosure service to Suffolk schools to check volunteers working with young people. Unfortunately we are no longer able to process applications on behalf of external organisations (except Suffolk Schools) and refer you to Suffolk Association for Voluntary Organisations (SAVO) - www.savo.co.uk For further information on the CRB Disclosure service please contact Angela Edwards. ISA details on the hold due to goverment consultations for lastest infomation see - www.crb.org.uk or www.isa-gov.org.uk. |
