We were established in 1991 to act as a single point of contact for schools, colleges and business to develop activities, programmes and events that enhance and enrich the national curriculum. We offer advice, assistance and support by developing initiatives, programmes and activities which provide young people with work related learning opportunities.
We currently hold the National Education Business Partnership Network (NEBPN) quality assurance award. The new Award for Education Business Excellence (AEBE) was introduced in 2009 and we are committed to achieveing this award in 2010. The Suffolk EBP is governed by a Board of Directors and Trustees: Chairman: Adrian Williams CBE Adrian was Headteacher of Bury St Edmunds County Upper School for 21 years until his retirement in 2005. He is a trustee of many charitable and community bodies, most notably St Nicholas Hospice, the Guildhall Feoffment Trust, the Lund Trust, as well as chairing the Wiliam and Ellen Vinten Trust and West Suffolk and Suffolk Cruse. He is a lay canon of St Edmundsbury Cathedral and a member of Bury St Edmunds Rotary Club. He lives in Bury with his wife, Janet and they have 3 grown up children. Adrian was appointed CBE in Her Majesty’s Birthday Honours List in June, 2003 for services to education.
